Course Overview
This one-day clinical course is tailored for physiotherapists, hand therapy specialists & Osteopaths, aiming to integrate advanced acupuncture techniques into upper limb rehabilitation. Grounded in evidence-based practice, the course addresses the management of sensory disturbances, peripheral nerve dysfunction, and localized pathologies of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Course Objectives
• Understand the underlying mechanisms of peripheral nerve dysfunctions, and acupuncture intervention strategies
• Learn acupuncture approaches for common local hand conditions (e.g., trigger finger, tenosynovitis)
